1000 Young Entreprenuers from 120 countries battled it out for recognition and stipends at the 2010 edition of this year´s Tällberg Conference in Leksand Sweden.
Winning business ideas included;
1. A production ready, 5 dollar solar oven to be sold as a source of heating, cooking and income in emerging markets.
2. A low-cost refrigerator made of re-inforced papper.
3. A school for young entrepreneurs in Liberia & Sierra Leon.
The attendees were able to listen and interact with world famous Scientists, Politicians and Entrepreneurs.
In the conference´s closing session the youth took to the stage in a crowded arena to prolaim; "We are a vital resource both for the furture and for the here and now! - use us wisely!"
Advice which might rumple establishment feathers but advice we would all do well to heed never the less...
